The media has portrayed you as fangirls with a crush because, as harsh as it is, that’s essentially what it comes down to. I’m going to be bold and make the assumption that the majority of people fighting for Jahar’s freedom would not be doing so if he was your stereotypical terrorist, or less…

When someone walks away without giving me a hug…
BUT WHAT IF JAHAR IS INNOCENT ?? HMM?? QUIT JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS WHEN YOU DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT THE WHOLE CASE BRO
Anonymous

I’m sorry, “bro”, but if you had actually read what I said, you would have understood that I clearly said I believe he deserves a fair and proper trial. After all, he IS an American citizen and is technically “innocent until proven guilty”. And also, if you think he’s innocent, cool??? I don’t care. In fact, I’m happy for you. My rant was about the people fetishizing about him and writing fan fictions about him and such. I actually applaud the people that are taking the time and effort to more deeply analyze the case, to try and understand the inconsistencies and even possibly prove him innocent. I applaud them because theyre actually trying to make a difference, actually standing up and doing something about it instead of sitting there having wet dreams about somebody that *COULD* very well be a murderer/terrorist. See, I put *COULD* so that way you couldn’t bitch about that. Now, how about you quit jumping to conclusions when you clearly don’t know shit about what I was actually trying to say, BRO. So next time you feel like jumping down my throat, put on your reading glasses and thinking cap and actually get what I’m saying. PS nobody will take you seriously when you type in all caps. Cheers! xoxox

I'm basically with you when it comes to Jahar (my subblog I use mostly is as-millions). I'm what you call a vet I suppose when it comes to these things (I'm big on Palestine, Economy and Guantanamo etc.) and I have NEVER seen this sort of thing before. I suspect it's from kids who really have no idea what they're getting themselves into and see it the same as something else they've done because they identify too much with Jahar. :/ It's taking people away from the big picture which ain't good.

Yeah. Its weird, and creepy. There are people who are trying to figure out the inconsistencies about what happened and trying to figure out if he was innocent or not or whatever, and theyre actually working towards something, and I respect that. But it’s the kids that are writing fanfics about them and fetishizing over them thats really creepy and screwed up. And it’ll make people who are legitimately fighting for the brothers be taken so much less seriously. And, like you said, just detracts from the big picture. Its crazy.
